It is finally 2018! Time for change, improvement, and new beginnings. As many know, everyone usually makes New Year’s resolutions every New Year’s Day. But how many people actually stick with their resolution? Huffpost calculated that only 8 percent of people in the world actually stick with them through the year. Here are the percentages that Newswire calculated of how many people start with resolutions, and the most popular resolutions.

Workout/Diet
37 percent start out the year by going to the gym and eating healthy.

Less social media
25 percent put their phone down or put them on do not disturb.

Save money
25 percent start a savings account and keep piggy banks.

Stop procrastinating
20 percent stop waiting until the last minute.

Spend more time with family and friends
19 percent get time off time from work to visit friends and family more often.

Get organized
18 percent start buying planners and set reminders on there phone.

Travel
14 percent start travelling around the world or even just across the states.

Quitting bad habits
15 percent with bad habits start researching different ways to get rid of a habit.

Mental improvement
16 percent stop stressing so much and focus on being content.
